New for 2023-24 season - LCDMHA is REQUIRING parents (minimum one per household) to create their own ‘My Account’ on Hockey Canada’s HCR website.
Please give this request your earliest attention, as waiting until the season begins will make it difficult for me to be able to support you through the process, if needed.
Creating a 'MyAccount' for yourself will give you direct access to read and respond to waivers (required annually) and other important information regarding your child’s participation with LCDMHA, BC Hockey and Hockey Canada.
Creating an account is primarily for parents who are not or have never been rostered to a team as a coach, assistant coach, safety person or manager.
Individuals who have had a TEAM STAFF position in the past should already have access to their HCR Online account. If you plan to serve as a TEAM STAFF volunteer for this season, or if you have in the past, you need to make sure you can access your account to read and respond to critical / required waivers.
Using the primary email address you wish to be connected to your MyAccount, you can search for an existing account, re-set your password, or create a new account.
2023-24 Parents and confirmed volunteers will receive an email with the information included in this post. There is also a link (yellow tab) on our website homepage with detailed instructions on how to search for an existing account, re-set your password, or create a new account.
VOLUNTEER STAFF (Coach, Assistant Coach, Safety, Manager) who have not responded to the required waivers on their HCR profile will not be able to be rostered to any teams for the 2023-24 season.
PLAYERS whose parents have not created their own MyAccount and responded to the critical waivers on their child's HCR profile will not be able to be rostered to any teams for the 2023-24 season.
When your MyAccount is set up, you will be able to link the HCR profiles of all members of your family whose profiles you need to manage.

Update - November 2023:
In preparation for 2024-2025 season registration, AT LEAST ONE PARENT FOR ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN 'MyAccount'.
Important steps in the registration process that we were able to complete with pen and paper in the past are now required to be completed digitally, and LCDMHA does not have permission to complete these steps on behalf of parents.
PARENTS must be proactive in responding to critical and mandatory waivers, questionnaires, and updates to their players' personal information via MyAccount.
